The Waiting House
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor
in vain who would build it.” – Psalm 127:1
My house is diligently secured
it stands well-built on solid ground
its treasures lovingly maintained.
The doors are unlocked
every window is open
the table is laid, the meal prepared
and the lamps are lit.
I now wait for the Lord to come
and re-build my house.
