Words have the power to move mountains
the focused words of people who yearn for justice
can stop tanks, deflect bullets, and bring down tyrants
words can penetrate the darkest of closed systems
they can open prison doors and sow the seeds of freedom
even in minds conditioned to the servitude of chains.
But those who speak words must speak with caution
lest they say things that are unjust, not true, divisive
or spoken with intent to disrupt the common good
or keep those who hunger for the truth from passing
over the barrier heights of false speech and divisiveness
and begin to move mountains and open prison doors.
